Calling all Computer Science, Engineering, and Design students
Have an idea for an app, piece of software or even a physical product that you want to bring to life?
Have an idea for an app, piece of software or even a physical product that you want to bring to life?
The Universal Design Sprint (UDS) invites students to a weekend-long competition to develop an innovative solution that can help make the world a more inclusive and accessible place for everyone, with a particular focus on increasing accessibility in Technology, for people with disabilities, and better design for everyone .
Not studying computer science? No worries!
UDS is designed for people from diverse backgrounds and specialisations to work collaboratively, regardless of what you’re studying, whether it’s computer science, engineering, design, architecture, or something else entirely.
You’ll work in a group of 3-4 people to create your product, with support from the UMSU Disabilities Department and student clubs including MBSI, MUEEC, DES, WIT, HackMelbourne, MESS and CISSA.
